This is a wall-mounted work

The iconography here is that of Balakrishna standing beneath a tree enjoying his flute. Being a child, he is shown bare bodied, with his instrument held tight and close to his face. A calf has crept up behind him and lovingly licks his body in adoration. Two noteworthy features are the large leaves placed behind Balakrishna so as to produce the illusion that he is winged, and the ornate end tassels of his flute.
